Thanks for My Veteran’s Day

I enlisted in the Army Reserves in August of 2008 as a 68-J. That’s a medical logistics supply specialist for you civilians out there, but to my fellow Battles, we all know it’s just the Army’s fancy way of saying my job was to order stuff, stock stuff, distribute stuff, and properly store stuff- mostly medical stuff.

On this most recent Veteran’s Day of 2020, I was the recipient of stuff- mostly coffee stuff. Thank you to Karen of H-E-B and Bennett of Starbucks!

    Thanks for Breaks

We make music all year long at Kenya’s Keys, but occasionally, we do take breaks so that we can rejuvenate those creative juices and continue to provide you our very best musical selves.

Please note the following upcoming closures:

    • Thanksgiving Break is November 23-27, 2020
    • Winter Break is December 21, 2020-January 1, 2021

    Thanks for Your Support

How would you describe 2020 thus far? Whatever words you just said in your head- me too! Thank you for your continued support of this small business.

      Thanks for Small Businesses

Every Kenya’s Keys Superstar will receive a T-shirt, mug, and hot chocolate provided by JLN Creates. JLN Creates is owned by Jocelyn Griffin, Superstar Pianist. With that being said WE NEED YOUR T-SHIRT SIZES so she and her team can get to work. For you Temple/Belton local Superstars, you’ll be able to pick up your goodies via porch pick up here at Kenya’s Keys Voice & Piano Studio. For you Superstars outside the Temple/Belton area, your goodies will be mailed to you in a timely fashion.

Thanks for 12 Days of Holiday Performances

Feeling festive yet? Maybe this will spread some cheer. Each day from December 1-12 we’ll be sharing jolly jingles and spirited performances across social media. Who knows? I might even do a live performance or two myself here and there.

Have a favorite song you’ve just been dying to share? It doesn’t have to be a holiday song- just something you’re super ready to share with the world. Record your performance and email it to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com or post it to YouTube and send me the link.

Save that hot chocolate and mug for Saturday, December 12, at 7 PM. We’ll be hosting a watch party of all those stellar performances in our jammies or other comfy spirited holiday attire while sipping hot cocoa.

          Superstar Shout Outs

Welcome to Claudia and Evie, our newest Superstar Singers to join our ranks!

Congratulations to Michael, Savannah, Ally Claire, and Aubrey for completing their lesson book. Let’s keep on shining, Superstars!

Congratulations to Superstar Avery for placing 5th chair on the clarinet. She’s already eye-balling that 1st chair position!

          Final Notes

We believe that music lessons should be accessible for all children and for several years we have partnered with The MusicLink Foundation in order to make that happen.

Families must prove a financial hardship in order to qualify for this program.
