Policy Highlights
Thank you for choosing Kenya’s Keys for your musical journey. To ensure we hit the right notes together, the following policy, expectations, and procedures have been established. Here’s a brief overview, but keep reading for further details.
- If Belton ISD is closed for inclement weather, so is Kenya’s Keys
- If you miss your regular weekly group lesson, join another offering in that same week where possible
- Payments are made via auto-pay using the details given at enrollment
- Payments are non-refundable and due on the 1st of each month
What’s Included?
The same way that a gym membership grants access to the facilities, staff, and equipment, tuition grants you access to our staff and lesson platforms. Instruction may include pre recorded video lessons, independent assignments, and group or one on one instruction.
- Lesson Books
- Lesson Platform (Muzie.live)
- Customized Lesson Material (Musico.io)
- Performance Opportunities (3 times yearly)
- Degreed Classically Trained Vocalist & Pianist With Over 20 Years of Teaching & Performance Experience
Tuition Structure
Tuition covers 34 weeks of lessons from September-May. Payments are spread out equally over that 9 month period. Tuition factors in breaks, holidays, and the occasional missed lesson regardless of the number of lessons offered in any given month.
Lessons are also provided during the Summer from June-August. Simply purchase a package of 4 or 8 lessons.
Tuition is paid monthly via secure auto draft on the 1st of each month. Your first month’s tuition is prorated to the date of your first lesson. All future lessons are billed on the 1st of the month at the regular rate.
On occasion, tuition rates will increase in order for us to continue to provide the most up to date and informed creative experience for Superstars. Rate changes are announced at least 30 days prior to the effective date.
We believe music lessons are for everyone and partner with The MusicLink Foundation to make music lessons more accessible for qualifying families.
Fee Structure
The annual enrollment fee is due at registration. The annual enrollment fee is $50 for one Superstar or $75 for family of Superstars.
A late fee of $50 is applied to accounts that remain unpaid on the 5th of each month. Lessons are only provided for paid accounts. If you need an alternative payment date or plan, just ask! Simply email Kenya@KenyasKeys.com.
Lesson Delivery
Lessons are recorded and delivered online via Muzie.live. Additional lesson materials are provided via Musico.io. Private lessons are based on teacher availability and reserved for the more serious learner. Group lessons are reserved for the more casual learner.
Lesson Set Up
For a heightened lesson experience, where possible, eliminate distractions, show Superstar hands on the keys, show that Superstar face, and charge your device.
Most up-to-date devices are compatible with the online lesson platforms we use.
Illness & Missed Lessons
Not well enough to come to your lesson? Tuition already accounts for the occasional missed lesson.
Customized pre-recorded video lessons and/or independent assignments are provided via Musico.io for those who cannot make their regularly scheduled lesson time due to illness, travel, and other life events. This eliminates the need for make-up lessons and allows Superstars the flexibility and freedom that life calls for.
Discounts & Referral Bonus
Pay in full for Winter (January-May), Summer (June-August), or Fall (September-December) lessons to receive 20% off that season of lessons.
Receive 20% off one month’s tuition for sending us leads that complete 2 months of lessons.
Summer Lessons
Lessons are provided year round and continue throughout the Summer from June-August.
Summer Lessons may be given as:
- Weekly Lessons (same day/time barring scheduled closures)
- Flex Lessons (a package of 4 or 8 different day/time self-scheduled lessons)
Priority scheduling for next Fall is provided to Superstars who participate in any preceding Summer Lessons offering.
Opting out of Summer Lessons? Just pay the annual enrollment fee by June 1 to receive priority scheduling for the upcoming Fall.
Scheduled Closures
We make music all year long at Kenya’s Keys, but occasionally, we do take breaks so that we can rejuvenate those creative juices and continue to provide you our very best musical selves. As a reminder, tuition already includes breaks.
Kenya’s Keys is closed on the following dates:
- August 14-September 1, 2023
- November 20-24, 2023
- December 25-30, 2023
- January 15-19, 2024
- March 11-15. 2024
- May 27-June 7, 2024

Media Release
We occasionally take pictures and record videos of Superstars in action.
Pictures and videos of students are responsibly used to highlight music magic as it happens and may be used for marketing and advertising purposes on our website and across social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
You can opt out at any time by sending an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com.
Ending Lessons
Need to pause or discontinue lessons? Complete this exit form. Submission of the exit form officially removes you from our roster of Superstars. Superstars with paid in full accounts who wish to cease lessons may continue with lessons through the end of the month.
There are no fees for terminating lessons, however all monies owed must be paid in full. A monthly Penalty Fee of $100 will accrue until all monies owed have been paid in full.
Flex Lessons
Have a Flex Pass? Lessons must begin within 30 days of purchase. Any unused Flex Pass lessons expire after 60 days from the last lesson or initial purchase date, whichever is smaller. All tuition is non-refundable.
